I have over 25 year’s physiotherapy experience. After graduating I moved to Hawkes Bay and began my career intially working in rest homes. I then moved into a gneral physiotherapy roleat the Hastings hospital before moving to private practice. I have worked locally in Havelock North for 20 years successfully treating and rehabilitating patients with all kinds of sprains, strains, injuries and pain.

Over the past 12 years I have worked hard and am particularly proud to have developed specialised skills and knowledge through post graduate training in pelvic health including ante and post natal health, pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, sexual pain and dysfunction, bladder and bowel continence management and men’s pelvic health.  I believe pelvic health concerns should be openly discussed with many  able to be improved and cured. It may be common but these kinds of concerns should not be considered normal.

Patients can refer themselves but are often referred by their specialist, GP, midwife or other health care professional, or you can contact Leanne directly for a private consultation without referral.

I am fortunate to live and work in a wonderful community – Havelock North with my husband and two teenage sons. In my spare time I enjoy learning (I’m always keeping up with research or learning something new) walking, boating, water skiing and wakeboarding and more recentlyI have taken up squash.

I strive to empower those with any health issues to reduce symptoms and improve their quality of life. Whether it’s an injury, pain or a pelvic health issue, all affect our emotional and physical wellbeing. At Inside Out Physiotherapy the goal is to help you repair|restore|recover from the Inside Out.
